Dave Walsh, 2027 NAR Regional Vice President (RVP), Region 13  Serving as an NAR Director is about more than showing up for a vote. Dave Walsh will break down what California Directors need to know to be prepared, engaged and effective - from the role of the Regional Vice President and expectations for participation to how to prepare, where to engage and where to turn for support throughout the year.Location: Whitewater Ballroom

Dylan Swisher, Director of National Governance Programs, NAR, Jennifer Branchini, Past President, C.A.R. Get a clearer look at how NAR governance works today and how it continues to evolve. Dylan Swisher will unpack the roles of the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Delegate Body and other key parts of NAR’s governance structure, with a focus on what Directors need to know to participate effectively. Jennifer Branchini will bring the member-leader perspective, including her work helping advance improvements to NAR’s committee application and selection process. Colleen Hauk, Executive Presence & Communications Expert, The Corporate Refinery Being an effective NAR Director is about more than showing up and casting a vote. It requires building relationships, earning trust, and knowing how to influence conversations in a large, complex organization.
